I’d give more stars if I could. For years, I saw people recommending Varsity Movers in a Hopkinton Facebook group, so I always knew that I wanted to hire them for my next move. I want to explain my situation in some detail to illustrate just how accommodating they are.I have Toxic Mold Illness and, knowing I would have to move at some point, for years I dreaded it because of the risk of contaminating my belongings in a truck which could have been contaminated with mold from items from a prior move from a building with unsafe mold levels for someone like me.I had already had to leave one apartment seven years prior and donate/sell almost everything I owned so as not to cross-contaminate the next apartment. It was traumatic. As a result, I barely furnished my last apartment, even sleeping on a stack of 3 air mattresses for seven years. (Not as uncomfortable as you might think, especially after adding the thick non-toxic mattress topper.)When I told Kierin of my concerns, he immediately knew what to do. Fortunately, I was a small move (see above), so they could use their smaller truck with a metal interior instead of the larger one lined with wood. The night before my move, he power-washed the interior using a product that I had requested which deactivates mold. He even went to Lowe’s to purchase it (and the TV boxes) for which I was so grateful, being in a state of exhaustion from packing. When I asked if he could do that for me, he didn’t hesitate to say yes.Because of Varsity Movers, I now know that I don’t have to worry about any of this for my next move, and can confidently furnish my new apartment.Charlie and Jack were fantastic. Friendly, fun, efficient, didn’t stop from start to finish, treated my belongings with great care, and accommodated all of my special requests. They made the move enjoyable, something I never thought possible.Needless to say, I recommend Varsity Movers with any hesitation whatsoever. I submit this review with much gratitude.
